The second fundraiser, a Murder Mystery Party was held on April 25th was also a HUGE success! Between donations and the wine auction we raised over $1,000. Thanks again to our good friends, Dennis & Marilou Cloutier who let me use their house again and donated wine for the wine auction.
Also thanks to all my wonderful actors and actresses and family and everyone else who helped out and came and those who couldn't and still encouraged. It was successful beyond my wildest imaginations! (And they get pretty wild at times.) And a very special Thank You to my wonderful husband, Jim who cheerfully puts up with my crazy schemes - and even helps with their execution!
I could not find anyone to play the part of Nigel Tuesday - the lily livered Mama's boy. So I ended up playing the part and had a really great time with it. Part of the reason it probably turned out so well is that I was so busy playing the part of Nigel, I didn't have time to boss everyone else around - and everyone did their own thing and it was wonderful... I guess it was God's plan all along to keep me out of everyone's way.
